This is Ryouga, the founder of Hachimitsu. In this post, I just wanted to go over who we are and why we picked honey sweetened chocolates. :)
At Hachimitsu, we make hand crafted chocolate bars that are only sweetened with raw honey. No refined sugars. We wanted to take an approach that relied on minimal processing of ingredients and is readily available in nature to stay all natural and healthy. This was also coupled by the fact that my and countless other peoples diets are cutting out refined sugars or have health complications that wouldn't allow them to consume refined sugars. (Typically only raw honey is permitted)
This is combined with my passion of business, financial markets, and most importantly, a chocolatier. It took several months of developing our proprietary recipe along with our sourcing and roasting process to create a honey sweetened chocolate bar that is rich, complex, and perfectly sweetened.
The end result has been great! We are able to make a raw honey sweetened chocolate bar that keeps all of the benefits and has minimal ingredients. That means no soy, gluten, stabilizers, or preservatives in any of our chocolates!
